We’ve come home.
A farm, but quite different – Rio di Pusteria in the Pustertal Valley, South Tyrol
When I tilt my
head to the side…
... the world looks different.
Here you can be as loud as you like – or as quiet as you need. You can wander to the breakfast table barefoot, in slippers, or in socks. Toys may stay scattered across the floor.
At O’Mama, children are free to simply be children, and you can savor a farm holiday designed to feel refreshingly different. Discover new sides of your own family – and watch friendships grow, almost by themselves, among our guests.
Mud, water, and nature
Small hands dig into the earth, mix mud with water, and build magical castles with sticks and stones. Bare feet race through the grass, and when little ones climb high and push their limits, their cheeks glow red with fresh air and delight.
Here, earthing and grounding are not an idea – they’re part of everyday life. We believe children should get dirty, create with natural materials, or simply sit quietly in the garden, exploring herbs and berries – marveling, dreaming, and gathering those little jam-jar moments that stay with you forever.

Hello Pulla Pia
Who’s that peeking curiously out of the barn door? It’s Pulla Pia – our proud little hen (and yes, Pulla is the local word for hen) – surrounded by her cheerful flock. Together, they gift us eggs in white, brown, and even a soft green, as if straight from a storybook.
Just outside, our dwarf goat moms Lina and Luna nuzzle up, always ready for a handful of hay and a gentle stroke. Black rabbit Molly hops by, while our fluffy dwarf sheep stand patiently, waiting for their turn to be petted. And in the barn, the cows – calm and content – chew on dry blades of grass, giving us the fresh milk that finds its way to our breakfast table each morning.
Memories for life
Bed & Breakfast for families in the Pustertal Valley
Fall into bed at night with eyes still sparkling with happiness – and jump up in the morning to fetch the very first egg from the henhouse. Make friends, romp and run, laugh until your cheeks are red. Build worlds with your bare hands using whatever the garden offers – sticks, stones, water, sand, and leaves.
Pick a book and slip into another world while reading in the chill-out corner, let your imagination flow in the painting studio, and meet animals as living beings with their very own personalities. This is family time at O’Mama.

Time for us –
together with the children
“When I saw you, I knew there would be an adventure.” Winnie the Pooh once said this to Rabbit – and that’s exactly how it feels at O’Mama. Adventures are waiting everywhere: with mom, dad, grandma, or grandpa – and with the new friends you’ll meet on the farm.
Health on the farm
The scent of hay, the warmth of animals, the freshness of stable air – which, by the way, is especially good for allergies and asthma.
Here, you’ll also learn about the natural benefits of hay. And for deep relaxation: sweat it out in the Finnish sauna on the rooftop or try a refreshing round of cryotherapy in the ice bath.
