How to find us
We are not a classic farm hidden away in the countryside, surrounded by nothing – O’Mama family time is centrally located in Rio di Pusteria/Mühlbach near Bressanone/Brixen, a small village at the entrance to the Pustertal Valley. Here, you’ll find everything you really need: a bakery, a pizzeria just around the corner, a village butcher – and above all, that wonderful feeling of having arrived.
Not yet a hotspot, but still an insider’s tip: relaxed, authentic, and pleasantly unhurried. Instead of selfie spots and tourist hustle and bustle, you’ll experience real South Tyrolean life – genuine and without frills.
The bus and train station are just a two-minute walk away, and the highway is only 5 kilometers from us. Since we encourage car-free travel, we’re happy to pick you up at the station by prior arrangement. During your stay, you can use the South Tyrol Guest Pass mobility card free of charge.

By car
If you are arriving by car, take the exit toward Pustertaler Staatsstraße street/E66 and follow the road until the exit for Rio di Pusteria/Mühlbach-Rodengo/Rodeneck-Gitschberg Jochtal ski and holiday area. After 550 meters on Pustertalerstraße street, you’ll find our farm on the right-hand side.
The farm has its own charging station for electric vehicles, and there are additional charging stations nearby. Parking at the farm is free of charge. From here, you can easily use public transportation or rent e-bikes directly at the train station.
Good to know 2025 – Arrival via the Brennero/Brenner motorway (A13)
At the end of March 2025, construction work will begin on the new Lueg Bridge. From then on, only one lane of the Brennero motorway (A13) will remain open in both directions, which may lead to traffic congestion. Please keep this in mind when planning your trip by car.
Bus & train
Rio di Pusteria/Mühlbach train station is just a two-minute walk from O’Mama family time. There are direct trains from Munich to Fortezza/Franzensfeste/Bressanone-Brixen, where you only need to change once before continuing just one stop further to Rio di Pusteria.
By air
Bolzano/Bozen Airport is about a 50-minute drive away, with direct flights from Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Kassel, and Stuttgart. Innsbruck Airport is a 75-minute drive away, with direct flights from Frankfurt and Hamburg.
South Tyrol Guest Pass
Upon arrival, you will receive the South Tyrol Guest Pass, valid for the entire duration of your stay. With it, you can use (almost) all public transportation throughout South Tyrol – including buses, trains, and selected cable cars – free of charge.
